Corporate Governance
How responsibility is divided between executive management, board oversight, compliance and research.
Governance at Almeer Securities (Pvt.) Limited is structured across four functions, each with a distinct responsibility.
Executive management
Day-to-day leadership of trading, operations and client service. The executive team is accountable for execution quality, service standards and the running of the firm.
Board oversight
Independent oversight in line with SECP corporate governance rules. The board reviews the firm's direction, risk appetite and controls independently of day-to-day management.
Compliance and risk
A dedicated desk covering AML/CFT, KYC and regulatory reporting. This function sits apart from the revenue-generating side of the business so that client onboarding and monitoring are assessed on their own merits.
Research and advisory
Produces daily briefs and sector coverage. Research output is published as general information; it is not personalised investment advice, and it does not take account of any individual client's objectives or circumstances.
Who sits on the board
The directors are listed with full profiles on the Leadership page. Our licence and settlement arrangements are set out under Regulatory Status.
