How to read this
Volume is not value. A security can top the volume table because it trades at one or two rupees, not because a large amount of money moved. The traded-value figure above is the better measure of how much money changed hands.
An index level on its own says little. The KSE-100 tracks 100 companies selected by the exchange. It can rise while most shares fall, if the largest constituents rise.
Activity is not a signal. Heavy trading tells you attention was on a security. It does not tell you whether buying or selling it was a good decision.
