What this service covers
Online trading gives account holders a direct way to instruct orders rather than relying only on a telephone call. Depending on the channel enabled for your account, you can place eligible orders, follow their status, and review your executed trades and account activity.
Availability of any particular channel depends on your account type, the applicable permissions and prevailing market and regulatory requirements.
Access and account security
Access to an online trading channel is personal to the account holder. Protecting it is a shared responsibility, and most of the practical safeguards sit with you.
- Open and operate the account in your own name only.
- Never share your password, PIN or any verification code — with anyone, including someone claiming to be from Almeer Securities.
- Review every trade confirmation as soon as you receive it.
- Monitor the alerts and statements sent to you by the depository and the clearing company.
- Report anything you do not recognise without delay.
What an online channel does not change
Instructing an order yourself does not alter how the market works. Orders remain subject to available liquidity, quoted prices, account limits, exchange rules and market conditions. Connectivity, device or network problems at either end can affect the timing of an instruction, so a submitted order should never be assumed to be an executed order until it is confirmed.
Online access is a way to reach the market. It is not a promise of execution, price or profit.
